The subject of stuttering is a very interesting one. It is an area where people who have been unable to eradicate their stutter run their own blogs where they advise other people to accept their stutter! Why would they want to do this, hardly something to be proud of is it? Their negativity makes other people believe that there is not a cure for stuttering. So this begs the question, is there a cure for stuttering?
In basic terms, which is the way we need to explain things to these negative failures, these bloggers should feel rather ashamed of themselves. Just because they have failed in their quest to achieve fluency, no doubt due to a lack of character and determination, does not mean that other people will not be able to overcome their stutter.
Yes stuttering can be overcome, it takes a lot of hard work, a positive mind, a real determination and patience, but it can de done.
Why listen to negative people? Why listen to people who fail? Why listen to people who bad mouth any form of stammering therapies? Let’s face it these people are basically just the losers of our society.
I am very lucky as I had parents who brought up to think in a positive manner, to not accept second best and to work very hard to attain my goals. Even though these negative stammering bloggers have yet to achieve fluency does not mean it is too late; they will obviously have to change their attitude however – if you think negatively you will have negative results.
If you have a stutter then I would not feel discouraged or dismayed after reading some of these stuttering blogs. There are many other websites which have plenty of positive news and treatments for stuttering. If you are willing to work hard, you will be able to achieve fluency.
Just by conducting a simple search using the keywords of “cure for stuttering” will help you to locate the types of websites that will help you in your quest to stop stuttering.

Mum I need to talk with you. What is the matter son? I just can not cope living with this stutter for any longer, please will you help me to find a solution? I really need to achieve fluency, I have to learn a way to cure this horrible stutter. It should go without saying Steve; I will help you in any way that I can.
The above is a conversation which I had with my mother when I was aged sixteen. I had just arrived home after spending a most frustrating day out with my friends during which my speech was dreadful. The problems started at the train station when I attempted to order my train ticket, I could not say the word “return”, I felt so small. Luckily I have some very good friends and they were very supportive. Don’t worry about it mate, you managed to say the rest of the words fine. This was nice but I still felt very down and a little bit depressed about what had happened. What is wrong with? Why can I not speak properly? Why have I got this horrible stutter? I try to be a decent person in everything that I do in life therefore I can not understand as to why I have this annoying stutter?
My speech was basically OK for the next few hours but then it took a huge turn for the worse when we went to a fast food restaurant for lunch. There was a voice within my head which suggested that it would be best to ask a friend to order the food for me. In a way this was like being rather weak. I would order my own food and I will order it fluently I said to myself. Well at least I was attempting to think in a positive manner but it was to no avail, yes the stammering did occur, it was when attempting to say the word “cheeseburger”.
Around two hours later I was in a sports shop as I wanted to buy a pair of trainers. After finding a pair that I thought looked good, I went up to the shop worker to ask for a size seven. Guess what? Yes you’ve guessed it, the stuttering reared its ugly head yet again.
By the time that I arrived home I was mentally and emotionally exhausted. I had had enough, this was the last straw. I was now desperate to find a form of stuttering help that would actually work.
I could not continue to live life with this stuttering problem and decided to fight back against this annoying speech impediment and its associaed demons.
